Byalee Milo is an amazingly moving Medallion gelding – everyone simply stops to watch when he is worked on the arena and although less advanced for his age than he deserves to be, due to his previous owner’s health, he certainly does have a big future.

Grand Prix stallion Richmeed Medallion (dec),  campaigned by Ann-Maree Lourey, has had a huge influence on Australian competing and breeding, being the sire of Grand Prix champions Byalee Magic and Mauritius and other FEI horses such as Gracefield Fabian. Of course he is also the sire of Mystery Whisper, sold by Heath Ryan to the USA to compete at the London 2012 Olympics.

Milo’s dam is by another highly influential TB stallion, Vain, and Vain’s sire, Wilkes, was the sire of Reprieved, sire of two of Australia’s earliest Grand Prix competitors, Gamekeeper (Victoria Ferguson) and Old Pardon (Mary Hanna), and also the stallion Be Serious (Roger Fitzharding). Milo’s dam line even carries the beautiful Lunchtime line, responsible for many hacks and dressage champions like Galloping Gourmet.

Milo is to date a quiet yet successful competitor placing with Byalee working pupils and appears to take life in his stride. Milo is a great-moving, lovely looking gelding who will make someone a beautiful partner.
